Mar. 4/09 Per. D 9 Math

We started today's class doing some mental pushups. We studied the picture below for about 3 minutes, tired to gather as much information as we could and then answer some questions about the balloons. After that we recorded our results and discussed different strategies the students used to remember the information. Steve, Marty and a few others noticed definite patterns in the balloons that allowed them to remember the data more easily.

Everyone was then given the opportunity to vote so we could see how different people did. (I scored a 2! Not too impressive.) Today I learned something form all of you.
