Today we started our new unit on problem solving and we started by looking at how algebra relates our next unit on solving problems. We watched a short video on youtube to give us an idea of how math is used in places without us even realizing it. After the video we talked about and looked at an example algebra specfically related to shuttle launches.
The notes and example we went over will posted tomorrow once we are completely through them. We also need to decide on what day to write our unit test for equation solving. I told everyone that there would be a poll here, but we'll do the poll tomorrow in class.
