We started today's class by going over some of the more challenging problems from yesterday's class on sheet 5-8. We covered questions 29, 30, and 35. Following that we started discussing our new topic factoring trinomials, but before we can do that, we did a short exercise in finding factors that produced certain sums or difference.

With about 10 minutes left in class we tackled a few math challenge problem podcasts. The podcast was posted by Warwick University and can be found on iTunes and searching "math challenges."
Since I won't see any of you tomorrow, your homework for Wednesday is to finish factor sheet 6-5 so on Wednesday we can move onto factoring trinomials!
