Oct. 3/08 - Period C 10 Math

I had been away the past two days, so today we started with a math problem (number problem) to get our brains thinking mathematically first thing in the morning. The problem was posted on the with using our new projector and the problem was made interactive using our classes mimio. The winning two people awarded small prizes.

After that we moved on to a discussion of percent raise and how to calculate it. Most students worked on examples of calculating percent raise. The homework for Monday was PF9, PF9a, and PF9b for any students who hadn't finish it over the previous 2 days.  

We also discussed a possible test date. It looks like it will be next week Wednesday of Friday.
